Tala Matchett, Co-Founder and President, JobSiteCheck

Tala brings to JobSiteCheck an entrepreneurial and strategically driven 17-year track record of successful construction team management. Deeply experienced at building teams to accomplish the impossible with a can-do mentality, Tala started her career in risk management at Aon Risk Services and has extensive success in both operations and sales, where she applies innovative strategies to turn around and scale organizations. Tala's energetic spirit fosters teamwork and a cohesive high-performance culture, and her eye on market trends keeps her teams ahead of opportunities. Her dedication to the community is matched only by her interest in mentorship, serving key roles as the board president for Philanthropitch and the co-chair of the Urban Land Institute Commercial Council. She has a BBA from Western New Mexico University and a Masters Certificate in Design Thinking from MIT. Tala is a partner at Notley, an organization that provides resources to catalyze social impact ventures and nonprofits.

Jay Nelson, Executive Vice President and Chief People Office, Planview

Jay is responsible for human resources, customer-facing enablement, organizational development, and culture and engagement initiatives to create a great place to work for all Planview team members. Jay has over 20 years of human resources experience leading HR teams, partnering with business leaders, and developing organizational capability and culture programs across diverse environments in technology, consumer packaged goods, and nonprofit sectors.

Before joining Planview in 2015, Jay was vice president of human resources at Vertafore, a midsize technology company serving the insurance industry. Prior to Vertafore, he held HR leadership roles at the Campbell Soup Co, as well as positions on several nonprofit agencies and boards. Jay has a master’s degree in human resources from the University of Scranton and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of San Diego.
